i think your thermometer might be stuffed or it is being influenced by other sources
clare didnt get anywhere near that...nor did
snowtown...even pirie only got to mid thirties

Hi Richard
The thermometre was new at xmas, and it matches the old mercury one,
Clare regularly has temps of up to 7-8 deg lower to us and Pirie is influenced by its proximity to the water, sometimes its similar to us and others its cooler, depending which way the wind is blowing.
I dont have any figures for
snowtown, but it would have been the hottest out of the 3 you mention.
Besides that I was out working in it all day and it was hot, despite what any thermometre says.

Pesty,
my thermometer that is also a good one under the back pergola area out of
well away from the sun was 41. I am in WIlliamstown (Barossa). I have no doubt you had 44.

Hi Toy,
Yes I have lived here for near 20 years and and I know when its hot, and had no doubt that my thermometre is close to accurate, hot arid plains here this time of year.
Know williamstown
well was born and lived for 30 odd years at Forreston, and still regularly travel that way to mum and dads who are still there.
Will have to catch up one day and chew over some 4wd fat!
Cheers Pesty

Yep, Iwouldnt try driving across the Tannami at the moment, their not even flying into Granites at the moment and its an all weather runway!
The rain is great but I would much rather 44 degrees than the humidity.
Cheers.

Hmmm...yes ...looking at BOM satellite images and it spruiks big fella rains. Today we had 4 drops here in the Northern

Gidday Pesty
I haven't been tracking the Wet this year and have no idea how localized the rain fall has been.
If it's affecting areas to the West of Rabbit Flat (Billiluna) and further heavy rain comes through, it may create some problems at the Northern end of the Canning this season. We'll wait and see.
Thanks for your post.
Regards
Kim

Victoria. Looks stronger today. Love to be in the Flinders with two weeks supplies wxmaps.org/pix/prec7.html I sent the addy to Willem the other day when the Flinders looked like copping it for the first time in a while...

Gulf country and western QLD to fill well.
