Navara engine surge fixed

I've been away for 10 days eating crayfish, thanks for your replies to my engine faltering(?) problem. My 3.0l d nav. had a very noticeable power surging particularly in 3rd gear. I changed fuel filter......still there. I took it to our local nissan mechanic and within 3 minutes he had it diagnosed. Faulty neutral switch on the gearbox sending false info to the computer. They had a new switch in stock (it's not the first time, they said) and I spent 10 minutes or so when I got home over the pit and it drives like a beaudy.
He said in third gear and driving, push the gear lever to the left and it increased in pick-up....which it did. Soooo problem solvered. Rus.
