Smiley,
not sure if they exist, I have the 1:25000 map of the area. Last week we went through the area and only a few of the main access tracks are marked, there is a real maze of tracks near where the Millicent sand buggy club go, maybe contact them, they might have more detailed maps although I haven't seem many more detailed than the 1:25000 series

Smiley nothing exists that shows the tracks in that area. There is as mentioned a 25 thou map but it won't be any real help. Not sure if this site has any GPS tracks available from it but you could
check. Also try contacting the local 4WD club down there who know the area really
well. You may be able to tag along.
If you have any plans of travelling those beaches alone then think again. Several sections are almost bottomless and you will end up walking
home. We never take people down their without at least three vehicles for safety's sake. As
well take a decent sand flag and have a radio on scan all the time. Stick to the tracks and tread lightly. The area is getting ruined by idiots and 4WDSA is continually working with the rangers to try and keep the area open for those who appreciate the place and do the right thinkg

Funny...I did the run from
Robe to
Beachport some years ago along
the beach and the detour via Nora Creina in an old G60 Datsun with cheesecutter tyres and never got bogged once. Did the run again at a later stage with another Nissan and tubeless tyres and didn't get bogged either. Of course
the beach conditions change all the time and one has to be careful. Even went as far as Carpenters Rocks along
the beach without incident...only just...lol

I have heard that the Wattle Range 4wd club has a map available from
Beachport Tourist Info Centre. I have never seen it but have heard that is good on a couple of forums.
I believe, but could be wrong, that a member of the Wattle Range club is a member here, not sure but his name could be Ziggy or some thing similar. a search could bring some thing up.

The Wattle Ranges Club has an excellent detailed map and notes available for three trips and FREE!! (thanks guys) from the
Visitor Centre.
Beachport to Nora Creina
Canunda NP
Little Dip Conservation Park
It is up to date as at Sept 06 and wonderful coloured production. Must cost them about $5 each I would guess plus the effort.
They clearly have it electronically ... but I don't know if they have published it that way.

G'day 944runner,
Now a map around there would be handy as every time I go down we always find new tracks, but don't know where they go.
address. calow37@yahoo.com.au
