Good day, I am looking at options for the Aus day long weekend and was thinking of the Otways, I have only been there once and that was years ago and was hoping that someone with up to date information could give me some recommendations for a three day stay. Would be looking for a about 4 cars with some medium to hard tracks. Any help will be appreciated.
Cheers Walter

Mate, it depends a bit what sort of camp site you are after. The Great Ocean Road isn't far away and there are places like Johanna Beach for camping. The Otways are a bit dry at the moment and so the tracks aren't as hard as they might be otherwise. Many of the tracks are quite easy but pretty drives while it is so dry. Noonday Track can be an exception but it also relies on water to make it more difficult..

Camps in the hills like Dandos are quite good under trees and with eco-toilets too. You go in from Forest South of Colac to get there. Fire is a danger of course!!!!!

Gday John,

Not sure if you have been around Triplet Falls lately or know anyone who has, just wanted to know if it has any water running, also Aire River near the Aire crossing? With or without water Aire Crossing is still a pretty Camp Site. Eco toilets etc.
