Ok troops,
When the "boss" backs the vehicle I need to talk to her (guide - explain - yell at etc)from outside the vehicle so I want to use the UHF in the truck.
What do you guys use in the way of hand helds.
Are the cheapy DSE units ok or is there a better one....
Grrr!!!

Gday Crazy.
For what it's worth, we have a GME TX 610, 1w, 4xAAA NiMh bats.
Bought on M. recommendation, and not sorry. (Triple A's = one more size: !!)
$89 delivered, ex Andrews Communications. Found Lee to be a top supplier.
(Caution: images of Fcob may follow. Looking ok.)

Easier solution
Do not let her drive the vehicle.
or
do not look and when she dents the vehicle get her to arrange the repairs including the run around associated with it. May then learn to reverse the vehicle.
Then again after a couple of dents you will probably be in trouble for being "an inconsiderate male and not a caring individual" :)))
Hell the humidity here in Millicent SA is getting to the brain cells. We have had a little bit of rain and still hot.

G'day Crazy,
This is serious! Have you tried hand signals? I have all the comms but it means nothing because she won't talk on it. After many iterations I have concluded that letting her reverse and me giving the signals provided the best result. Had to explain a few things before hand like turning does not have to be full lock and the
sign for slowly but now we can reverse and hitch a tregg without the yelling, screaming, bumps and worse, providing entertainment for other campers.
Kind regards
