I have a dual battery system that mainly runs a 60lt fridge. If i use a 1kw invertor generator through a battery charger do i have to disconnect everything to recharge battery or can i plug it straight on the terminals .Im not sure if i would harm the fridge or dual battery system if left connected.

Hi PjP65
Essentially you can just connect across the terminals from your battery charger without damage.
You don't say what sort of dual battery system you have , and depending on this it may or may not charge both batteries.

Hi pjp65
Yes just charge directly to the aux battery.
What size charger do you have ?
A 15 to 25 amp unit is a good size. Any smaller the generator will need to run 1/2 the day.

Derek.
