Heading off early tomorrow for 16 days of fishing and camping. A few days at Lenthalls Dam (Maryborough) chasing Barra and Bass. Then out to Fraser Island for the clean-up week-end and hopefully a few Whiting off the beach. We'll meet our son and girlfriend along with close to 40 vehicles from our 4WD Club out there for the clean-up. Then back to the mainland and up to Awoonga Dam (Gladstone) after Barra again for a few days. Round it out with a few days a Lake Monduran (Gin Gin) on the way back for Barra and Bass again.

It's a tough life but I guess someone has to do it. Just hope I can get SHMBO onto a nice barra so she will be keen to do it all again (and again.......) in the future.

If I get a barra over a metre, you can bet I'll be posting a pic here. This little fella is my best so far:

That sounds like Paradise Norm . Take plenty of braid to keep those big buggers out of the trees.

Norm

go on, just go and do it quietly and don't come back here bragging about how many and how big they were, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW, not.

I'm "trying" to say have a great time ya lucky buggers.

Thankyou to you and your club for doing the cleanup, "Thats Gold"

Travel safe and tight lines
