Today I was watching a program called Tomorrow Today (Briz 31 community TV). The program is made in Germany. One story was a professor of psychology examining the decision making process in humans. He stated that following Sept 11 attack, the number of Americans driving instead of flying increased by 5% and the subsequent road deaths increased by 1500. He didn't say over what period. The point he was making that we sometimes make flawed decisions. Fascinating.
