With all this monsoonal rain in SA would Lake Eyre have water in it? I've tried searching the net for stuff on it but can't come up with anything.

Local rain around Lake Eyre may wet the surface for a while but to actually get enough in it to look at from anywhere other than a plane, the Diamantina river or
Cooper creek systems need to flow. This can take
well over a month for water to arrive & even then needs to be backed up by further rain in Queensland. I wouldn't be packing my boat just yet ;-)
Cheers Craig....
