Heard on the ABC today that 24 4WD's are stranded at Salt Creek xing after a monstrer tide.
Apparently some are in salt water up to the roof.
A sad story for those Coorong visitors.
Geoff.

High tide was about 3 am. Is that the best time for fishing? No wonder I never catch anything.

Terribly sad and devastating. But as I said to the Lady: we could be done like that. So far, our luck has held. If, one day,we get zapped, then we wear it.
A bit like the dik who drowned his new 4by. (Earlier post. sad video link.) Sure. Idiot.
Forget who said it,(some goose from WA, I think).
Who among us deserve to be alive right now, after our youthfull stupidities? (speaking for we [smart arse]seniors, aged 95 or better.)
As he said, the poor apprentice is probably paying huge money into a dead account.
Perhaps the alternative is to stay at
home and ponder the colour of navel detritus?
