New toyota V8 diesel pic?

Here is a link to pictures from the winner of the Dakar rally production class toyota Team. They were driving a HDJ 100 according to what I can decifer (it is a japanese site). In one of the pics in the Gallery they are working in the engine bay....is that the new V8? Can't see much but it does say intercooler turbo in the middle and has fuel lines x 4 going down one side???

Anyway thought someone might be interested.

Looks a bit short to be V8 and I reckon I can only see 3 pipes, but then again I have been wrong before.

Looks like a 1HD-FTE to me, not a V8.

Maybe it was wishful thiniking.....I can't seem to find anything about the team of car specs on the web in English.

Shot was taken with an ultra wide angle lens which distorts perspective. Very 'groovy' these days and gets in all of the action.

1HDT-FTE 6cyl I'd say too.
