yes, production class.
Dude, having come from a competition background, there is "PRODUCTION", you and me, and "PRODUCTION" Factory teams...
dont think for a minute, that any production class car is a stocky with a set of XXX Shocks and springs thrown at it. I would doubt that any BOG STOCK car would last the Dakar... FFS, factory purpose built machines don't finish.

Totally agree mate but while Production does not mean Bog Stock, you would probably get close to replicating the machine if you had a big credit card limit and had some fun in ARB/TJM/OL etc. Far cry from totally different motor, driveline, body etc.
I applaud Mitsi for winning it but anyone that thinks even their fully accessorised Paj is anything like the winning vehicle is dreaming.
