Am going with a group to Happy Valley on Fraser Island, but not being much of a fisherman I'd like some sound advise as to how I can catch breaky/supper (apart from the chippy). Where abouts, what time, what bait is best etc... ANY help would be appreciated, thanks in advance :o)

Go to your local seafood outlet and buy some mullet fillets . Not the large ones but the small ones that dont flake apart . Put about 10 into your esky or fridge . Cut into strips and put on hook . Not too much or you will just be wasting it . Fish at dawn just after the sun comes up . Good luck .

... but take a big box of corn flakes just in case it does not work out. I go to Fraser regularly and have never caught a thing apart from a line full of weed. Good luck.

Shawsie, throw into the gutters at low tide with a pippy or beachworm, both
were easily found last time I was there. You may throw a lot of little stuff back
but there are a few eaters as well. I mean in close..20feet offshore, gutters
are the darker water channels...good luck....oldbaz.
