I believe it is in South Africa where they hang baits out encouraging the great whites to breach. I have also read that many great whites transit from Australia to S. Africa.
Does anyone know of any tourist outfit in Australia that is encouraging great whites to breach like those in the link ?

I think there was a study done and made into a documentary on comparing SA, Aust and US Great whites. These look like stills from that documentary.
The SA ones have trained to breach when feeding, they hit the seals from the underside up as the seals have become "trained" to be aware of the G whites coming in from behind/side on. The study was to see if the Aust, US ones would also breach which they did after some days of baiting. The SA G whites have developed the breach becuase the seals are too quick over the short channel between one island and the mainland, can't remember where. They used a rubber seal decoy bait towed behind the boat to get them to hit.
