Hey there,
Just wondering if anyone can give me some idea where to get a good quality canvas canopy made and also the barwork for my Navara. I am in the
Perth northern suburbs. Also has anyone out there got a late model dual cab Navara with a canvas canopy on, or know where I can see one. I am still undecided as to whether to go with the canvas or fibreglass. The missus and the kids and I are driving from
Perth to
Darwin in June.
Many thanks,
Phil

There is a guy in Kenwick on champion Drive, cant remember the company name (details are at home), but he quoted me for supply and fit frame and canvas for a 6ft x 6ft tray of around the 1600 mark. I too am investigating at the moment, as i will be looking at getting one in the coming weeks. i am undecided about building the frame myself, or paying for it to be done.
If you want to swap notes regarding manufactruers that we each find, email me at swesv@westnet.com.au

I have had a canvas canopy made (at a TAFE college). basically had a roll bar put at the back, same profile as the chrome roll bar behind cab. I have the plastic lid on most times, and when I go
camping I take it off and put the canvas one on. It doesnt have a frame, it sits over the two roll bars. Allows me to have a ute, keep the back locked when the lid is on, then swap for
camping etc. for more room. Best of all worlds.

thanks very much for the info mate. I don't have the roll bars on
mine though, so will stick to the steel frame.
Cheers
