Hi, I am in the middle of purchasing a 98 GU patrol, I have been quoted $3,600
for supply and fitting, can anyone tell me if this is a good price?

Keep searching.
You need to tell us what type of gas system you are looking to run.
i.e. big
tank, scuba type, etc
sounds expensive

I am e-mailing my cousin as he just gassed his GQ. Think he got it done somewhere outside of Lillydale VIC.
I will let you know what he paid. His was a tricky system.

Apologies!!!
The cousin paid $2300 for the gas conversion. Same way you are going.
Problem is that was before the Fed. Government put the rebate up for gas conversions.
Now that same dealer is charging $3600 for the same job !

Hi Jason, Sorry I should be more specific, it will be a dual fuel, from what I know they will take out the sub
tank and replace it with the gas
tank. I dont know much more than this as I am still in the negotiations of buying, I will know more tomorrow.

I had my GU converted about 6 months ago.
I paid $3300. That included an Impco Gas system and a larger Subtank (75l)
