Very cool! Just watched the video and it could be an excellent addition to the in house cat freaking out machines.

I have the same but fixed wing aircraft x 2. They are made out of the same stuff and have an engine on each wing. The remote allows you to control throttle (climb or dive) and left/ right (opposite engine revs increase to induce turn).
You just throw it like a paper plane and then hit the throttle. Great fun but it needs to be indoors or a no wind day if you want to control it. They will climb to power pole height and have a range of about 30 metres from the controller.
You can buy them from Toys R Us for around $50 - 60. I bought
mine in Oct and they survived the travel to Afghanistan where they get flown around the compound occasionally. The Afghans love running after them (and are happy to climb on the roof to rescue them).
I will be buying a new set on return to Oz as I am giving
mine to one of our bus drivers.
Great fun to buzz the dog and the wife etc - the kids love it.
Remember - No Wind
Cheers ... Taz

Hi There,
I fly rather larger RC heli's than this but can recommend them to anyone who wants to have a bit of fun. Almost indestructible and a buzz when you get it right.

I got one of these for christmas, it is still working, I have lots of RC stuff and most of it is broken within 24hrs. This thing can be flown inside only as the sun effects the IR, I found out when I lost control and ti went onto my roof. They are awesome fun, I also got my 14month old in the cheek with the blade and it didnt hurt him, it was kind of like king kong. I also have the single channel UFO thing, it was crap so I modded it. Reversed the polarity of the blade, put the balde up side down on the top of the body, took out all the electronics, direct drove the batts to the motor, and let it go. I recon it got around 400m verticle so it was a tiny dot, but the wind took it probably 2km horozontal. It landed somewhere a long way away but it was awesome. I recommend the mod as its a crap toy.

I fly one of these Site Link
Fortunately parts are cheap and readily available, I have very little left of my original helicopter ;-)

Don't know. It was present from a mate of
mine who had it couriered to me urgently from Kalgoorlie (600km's away) as he reckoned I should not be without one of these for a second longer than necessary.

Laughed myself to tears when Duncan the cat happened upon this strange new object conveniently placed on the loungeroon floor. Duncan is no sissy believe me, only the day before he'd sorted out a Staffordshire bullterrier that came into our backyard. He really is a fearless and serious little bugger.
He had a sniff and without warning it took off and hovered above him. The sight of a critter so torn between fight and flight was priceless. Flight won out and we found him out the back embedded in a defensive position.
Aclimatising him now.

Took the Picoo Z round for the Australia Day BBQ at our mate's place yesterday. He's building a big open plan room out the back of his place with a very high pitched roofline. Perfect!
Whilst all the ladies sat in
the pool drinking wooblah, the men played with the helicopter inside on a 41 degree day. Experimented with blu-tak weight distribution for a greater 'attack angle' to increase speed. All the lads are buying them now so we can race.
Later on my wife had a go and crashed into the new brickwork where it fell into the wall cavity. mmmmmmmmmmm. Extension ladder and some contortionist work from Graemar (he's a plumber see) saved the day.
