Hi

Just scouting around in my head (nothing much in there though) as to what we should do this easter. I have got easter off this year and was thinking that a trip out of Melbourne about three or four hours away at the most would be good. Someone out there must be thinking up something that would be good to do. Have to get in early and organise something otherwise things will come up and will never get away.

I need someone creative to help suggest stuff for me!

Andrew

Gday Andrew and Jen,
Been to the Pyrenees (near Avoca)?
We did it at Easter a few years back - some good 4wd tracks, good wineries and even the odd coffee shop! Camped in the State Forest.

Cheers

Ditto to that from me. I went last year with my 4WD club and had a ball. Only thing stopping me this year is SWMBO has her birthday on Easter Saturday and won't let me out to play. Several good camp sites, tracks from easy to extreme, Percydale Historic area for a look see.

I'll 3rd that. Pyrenees a good spot. Ask Glenn about the campsites

Ask Tegan(little Mrs Al) about the F....F......Hill.....lol(a tad steep)

Poor Andrew totally devoid of ideas. Too much play and not enough work.

Cheers

If you drive for 3 or 4 hours and Jen drives for 3 or 4 hours you could visit beautiful downtown Berri. I know of a good campsite.

Have heard that it is nice. Was hoping to get somewhere on the Thursday night and come home on the Monday. Berri is very nice but the Murray might be dry by then!

I will write to the minister for the Murray tommorrow and ask her to keep our section of the river full until after you visit. I am sure that she will oblige.
