Hi All
What does the Nissan warranty cover. I purchased a new car in 2003 and my remote has died even after replacing the battery. I took out the extended warranty (5 yr) and would this be covered?? or do i need to purchase one.

Cheers Tim

Tim,
I had both remotes (2003 ST 3.0 td) replaced under warranty without any arguments in June of 2006 after numerous unsuccessful battery replacements.

warranty on remotes is usually only covered for three years, due to the fact that they tend to be droped, kicked, and thrown around.
be nice to your service advisor and they may claim you a new one on a different car....
