Hi I have a the latest Ford Explorer the warranty has just run out and last week the back panel on the hatch window cracked without warning.
I have had numerous items fixed under warranty since I purchased it three years ago but Ford have told me that as it is not a safety issue they will not replace the panel.
Has anyone else had the same problem with their back panel window?
cheers

Wow, what a helpful fellow you are PJD.
Didn't your parents ever tell you if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all?

A bit blunt, however some times the truth is a bit hurtful to some people.

Try a few different dealerships as if the service history is good sometimes they will give you a warranty fix if it is only just out.
I remember seeing a Recall letter at my uncle’s house a wile back for something to do with the rear lift
gate for his 2004 V8 limited but it may have been for another issiu.
Cheers.

I dont know if you mean a window or not - if it is it may be covered FOC in your insurance?
