Thanks for that....another reason to hold off upgrading :-)

Great security workaround......install in the root directory (C:\) and it will work! I can see it now, all dodgey programs will just install themselves in the same location instead of "Program Files".

I thought OziExplorer made it's own folder on C: drive, it did on my Windows XP

Hello Doug - yes I think OziExplorer by default will install at C:\OziExplorer - it is however possible to install it wherever you during the install process...so if you have it in the Program Files directory (like I have ) then problems may arise if you upgrade to Vista.

The same problem exists under XP for computers in an organisation which has an an over zealous IT group that keeps strict controls over everyone's computer.

6th February 2007 - New release version 3.95.4p of OziExplorer is available for download from the OziExplorer Software page.

The only changes made are to fix some issues when using the Windows Vista operating system.

Why anyone wants to upgrade is a bit beyond me. XP is reasonably stable, works, and has very few (12billion or so) bugs...

Just set up Vista on a test machine here at work (2 yrs until we roll it out!), and it does nothing for me apart form the though of creating a nightmare trying to train users.

And once again, it appears as though they stole a feature from Apple - the scrolling through windows all pretty like in middle of window.. WOW...

SP1 is already underway too for Vista LOL...

XP works for me now, I'll stick with it.

Hello - yes can see no point in getting Vista when all is sweet (well as sweet as a PC can be), however you probably wont have any choice in the near future when purchasing a new (MS OS ) computer, it will be Vista or ...Vista. Credit to OziExplorer developers for keeping up though - its now just up to the user what OS they choose to use.
