I went to get a few prices on tyres and thought I'd go the BFG MT's again (285x75). $300 bucks at the first mob and went to the place who fitted the current set I have. He said he'll give me a price but doesnt know how competitive it will be as he doesn't sell many BFG's now. He was told he didn't move enough units and undercut the 'BFG agents' in the area and as a result doesn't get the same prices. BFG seemed to have agents in specific areas so they don't compete against each other, much the same as Cooper tyres prices are pretty rigid.

So any good deals going on other branded tyres at the moment? Melb, NE Vic or anywhere in between off the Hume.

Leroy

Pitt the dealers against eachother..
I find that Bob Jane and Jaxx Quikfit really get into eachother.

I usually get my tyres down by $50 or so each. Having said that my tyres cost me $620 a corner.

Thats why I sold the heap of junk :p
Considered 4WD, Pathinder and Toureg interest me but you can't take them to the track...so I'll stick to sealed/unsealed roads for the time being :)

I figure that tyres are the only thing that keep you on the road, and as long as I can afford it I'll get the best ones possible :)
