Can I get some
feedback on the quality of
York caravans please. In particular I am looking at a 17ft Family van with the off-road pack. Looks a good outfit.
Can I get comments on
York please - good or bad ??

Mate I have no idea about Yorks, but I can give you some helpful info about safety, Buy a tandem axle whether you need it or not , Last year I came across a caravan just about 24 klm East of Mt Isa , the van was only a few months old and the rear axle main spring broke on the R/H Side and the whole axle was driven back under the van to about the middle, it was still attached to the left side but the result was that it did minor under floor damage, and dragged the wheels , this tourist was lucky in the fact that the front axle kept his van in line with the car , imagine if that had been a single axle , it would have steered the van violently to the right and hit a roadtrain had one been passing at the time but would most surely have rolled the van and the towing car , left some good black skid marks i tell you.
Enjoy your caravanning
Doug

Gooday, suggest you go to "caravaners forum" & ask your question there, you are sure to get some
feedback.
Think they are one of those brands that faded some years ago & have been reborn by a present day manufacturer, not sure though.
