'Off Topic' and it's also used as an acknowledgement for when subjects do not technically fit the ExploreOz guidelines, but are still possibly of interest to the core readership.

Yes OT = Off Topic, a topic that interests us all. I have a cunning habit of diverting all topics in to OT topics.
I have a mate who has had a vasectomy but has found a new love who is about a third of his age ( lucky bugger) and they want kids. He wants to have his visit to the vet reversed, I'm telling him that at his age he should be more responsible, who is gonna look after any such spring offs if he carks it. I'm not jealous, I still love Sybil dearly it's just that at times I find her screaming out the position numbers from her manual a tad off putting.
None of my business but of course he did ask my opinion, what do you people recon? Not about being off topic but about getting his "masculinity" restored to full working order?

Fawlty, this is no mere diversion, you have redefined OT - "Obtuse Tangent"... :-)
