Everyone,
Purchased a Hot Water on Demand Unit (significantly increased by WAF - Wife Approval Factor) of camping. Anyhow i am hooking up some water tanks etc (which i need to buy this weekend) and a pressure pump for the camper trailer.
The current pressure in the coleman unit is not brillant (read th posts on guys changing the shower head). Is it worthwhile buying the host adapter and connecting this to the pressure pump in the camper (something like a sureflow or jetflow pump)??
All i want is to get a little better pressure then what i currently have? Any ideas anyone.
Cheers
Justin

Definately a better setup with the hose adapter and a sureflow pump, I use a 12L/min sureflow pump and it works
well. One thing you need to do though is open up the hose adapter and adjust the regulator inside, then drill a hole in the top of the case so you can adjust it with a screwdriver later. The pressure from the hose adapter standard is about the same as the pump that comes with it. With the higher flow the water doesn't get quite as hot but I find this is much better for a shower as it's easyier to adjust to the correct temp and can still get way too hot for a shower.

stupid question. Anyone know/intructions on how to change the pressure valve? i would know how to open it, but is it simply a screw in the unit that you turn?

If you take the cover off it's pretty obvious, there is a solenoid and a regulator, the regulator has a phillips head slot on top of it, you just screw it in to increase the flow, standard it is not screwed in very far.I put mine in about half way, seems to do the job, unless you have a endless supply of water you don't want too much flow

Where do you buy a sureflow pump and do you just connect the hose that the system comes with to it. I thought bunnings may sell one of those pumps .
cheers
