Afternoon all...
Just after a bit of advice on camper trailer legs...

I need to replace the stabalizing legs on the back of the camper and would like to up grade them to a leg capable of "jacking" the camper , not just stabalize it. The question is .... does any one know whats available and where to get hold of them.

Thanks,
Boo

Mybe these would do the trick. Agricultural implement jacks which I have seen on someones trailer. Might be Mr and Mrs Al's.

If you cant source them MM me as where I work is a distributor.

There's also 'Stak-a-jak's'. About $25 each from most caravan/camping shops.

Be very careful "jacking". Depending on the style of your camper, it's easy to warp the chassis with consequent problems ranging from just annoying (door/hatches not shutting) to real damage such as creased panels. The stabilisers are usually just that - only stabilise. You get the levels right by using ramps or digging a hole under one wheel.

Look for Alco [?] drop down jacks. Best by a mile, no dumb screw driving a pivoting arm to get clogged with mud/dust etc. Could easily lift a camper as it works on a rack & pinion but you may need to watch the twisting effect as noted in another reply.
