Just wondered if anyone has visited the
Brisbane motor show and collected any info on the update Turbo ute.Such as
suspension.models .motors available etc.??

Wagon is same motor, but twin turbo and not out until late this year. Single turbo for the 7# series.

Thanks, I should have guessed that.
Sorta makes you wonder why they didn`t just intercool the old 6 banger as in the 100 series wagon(get the same power as the 8), sales pitch on a v8 diesel I guess.

I think they were forced to update the motor because of emission regs. All the old diesels are being phased out.
I can add an intercooler and chip to
mine and exceed the output of the new V8, so I'm an interested spectator, but unlikely to be tempted.

Thanks for all your replies .It seems economy is going to be the big question.Range of models will be interesting ? Not all as smart as the R V ,a little more practical perhaps with licence for 3 passengers when needed and steel wheels etc.
