Hey guys,
Can anyone tell me how much height an ARB full length roof rack adds to a 120 series Prado?

Mike,
ARB racks are all steel and very heavy. Try picking one up.
You may want to consider a flat platform rack - call in at Opposite Lock at Mile End - I think they stock a flat platform type rack that may go easily under your door.
I've always made my own racks, and find a flat platform to be a lot easier than one with sides - you can slide stuff up there a lot easier.

Thanks Phil, Just looked at Opposite Lock's website. They do stock one, only 22kg too, must try and get down there this week to have a look.

Mike,
They are a good guys at opposite lock. ( But i guess I've found most 4wd shops in
Adelaide to be good). But Opposite Lock usually stock some alternative stuff that the bigger boys don't have.

Mike'
I also have a rack from opposite lock and far prefer the flat plain(see rigpics)
there are a number of specific attachments that can be used for wheels, shovels, hi lift jacks, gas cylinders, as
well as adjustable "eyes" for ropes or ockie straps
it's also longer than the arb.I only needed
mine for the tent but now I've got it i'm glad I did
Only prob is it was also one of the dearest, but it has detachable legs and can be interchanged with other vehicles
