I have a problem with yanks calling their regular 4x4 or car a truck, but this is a truck so now we can refer to the owners of this 4x4 as a truck owner.

They don't really ..
they only call the Pick-Up's a truck, and that's correct in my book .. I call
mine a truck since it's GVM is abov 4.5t anyway and it has a bed to load stuff ..
the Wagons are SUV's in the US ..
and on the forums I did not come accross anybody calling a Suburban or a Tahoe a truck ... they are SUV's
here we call the litte trucks Utes which is closer to SUV and would be wrong so would be truck (too light) .. so how about WUV for Work utility vehicle
SWUV for sport/Work utilility vehicle
or FBCMHRSWUV ... you get the drift ..
who cares anyway what others call a truck or a car ...
have fun

Either way, if I had the choice of driving a Mitsubishi Canter 4x4 for work or a International CXT 4x4, my choice would be...................????????
Gold star and a Freddo Frog to the first one with the right answer.

I agree with you Phantom but it's not just yanks that call their 4wd station wagons a truck. Many Aussie blokes refer to Cruisers, Prados, Patrols and even Pajeros and the other minor players as "trucks". Some even go to the trouble of adding little lights to make them look like trucks. As a truck driver of real trucks I get a bit annoyed at times lol.

Should have made it clearer. Click on the 'customize' button and go to town with it.
