Installation instructions for a Dec 98 Subaru Outback

As the topic suggests.
I have a genuine subaru cargo barrier for a Dec 98 Outback. i appear to have all the brackets, but nothing seems to line up. I have contacted Subaru, but they are not much help, unless of course i want to buy a new barrier off them!!!! :)
Anyway, i was hoping someone might have the installation instructions that they could send to me?

buy a ftting kit from them and it will have instructions. its possible the wron kit has been supplied with the barrier.. happens all the time

I have tried to buy a fitting kit, but they are no longer in stock. I have also asked them if they could give me a description of the fitting kit, to see if i have the right one, but again, subaru are not being very helpful and they say they cannot help me.
If i can't get anywhere, then i need to go for an aftermarket barrier, just seems a shame to waste a perfectly good one i already have.
