Hi to all, I am looking for info on the Gary Highway from the Gunbarrel to
Gary Junction. Cant find any Trek notes as it is not listed . If anyone has been along the Gary in the last 12 months I would appreciate any info. We are leaving
Wiluna on the 2nd June to head north

Most those outback tracks are in a fair condition. They have not been maintained for years and carry little traffic. I have only done the triangle from
Gary Junction to Veevers Crater and back up to
Kunawarritji(2005). The track was OK with the odd washout here and there.
In 2006 we drove up the
Eagle Hwy but only as far at the
Warri Site and the track was quite good in fact, apart from the odd washout. You can access
Windy Corner from the
Eagle Hwy but I am not sure of track conditions beyond
Warri Site.
You should get some better answers as I seem to recall a regular contributer here stating that he had been that way the same time as us.
Not too many venture out that far.

Just to add to Willem the track is overgrown in parts from lack of use & can get a bit scratchy.
Cheers Craig..........
