Can you buy these from a supplier or do you have to make your own?. If the latter has anyone a rough sketch that you can post on the
forum.
Cheers, Nev.

Nevile, I saw some recently that were so simple... A piece of treated pine with a bolt thu it that acted as the axle with pnuematic tyred wheels about 8" dia on it held to the rear of the tinny with a g clamp. Plastic conduit used for spacers etc. Take off and put in the boot of the vehicle when not needed... I'd say at a guess that the lot could be got from Bunnings or any decent hardware store...

Nev,
A pair of clamp-on jockey wheels can be purchased from most Marine dealers.
They are quite portable and don't take up much room, but can be a PITA as they tend to twist in soft ground such as mud or loose sand.

Neville
Just purchased a pair through boat
shop for approx $70. They work fine once set up for your particular tinny. They are galv finish and for a light tinny I have no problems. May have to ask around at boat dealers to find them.
Cheers

Neville ,
I have a pair of jockey wheels that were made for me by a kind man . They locate on the chine and clamp onto the gunnels . Very strong and can be trailed at low speed from the
camp to water ( not registerable )
If you want a picture , MM me with your email address and I will send you one .
Willie

Neville, where are you located in QLD. I have a set of clamp on wheels that have only been used a couple of times. I've since bought a fold up trailer and probably won't use the jockey wheels again. They are very good, but I decided a trailer was better as I can now
camp a lot further from the water and leave the boat set up.
Paid $80 for them. If you are nearby you can have them for $40. I'm at Oxenford.
