Pajero DID DP chip

On 25/11/06, markas posted an enquiry re fitting a DP chip to his DID pajero(post 39772).
I am looking at doing the same & would appreciate any comments(positive or negative) on the results.

Just a silly question:
- don't you have a 2.8l TD (as per your rig page) which they don't make a DP Chip for (or a Dtronic for that matter)
From the DP Chip website:
These vehicles are currently unsuitable for DPChip fitting because they have a mechanical fuel pump. This may change in future releases of these vehicles as they upgrade to commonrail or other EFI diesel configuration.

Nice upgrade then :-)
Whilst i don't have any experience with these "chips", i would more than likely purchase a dtronic if they were half their price :-)
I'm also interested in any genuine responses to your query....
