Hi, I have a '97 holden rodeo 2.8l turbo diesel. I am wondering how easy it is to adjust the turbo boost on this model if it is able to be adjusted at all?

Hi Johno.
I had a manual adjustment fitted on my 2.8 pajero. Max boost 12lbs. Easy to fit.Should be easily fitted to a rodeo.
Regards.

Hello,
couple of ways to do it, but firstly, fit a boost gauge, or have one handy.
First option is to fit a boost controller. Easy as, easy to adjust.
Second option is to adjust the waste
gate actuater??? Between turbo and waste
gate is a rod, it should be threaded on one end. This is the what you adjust. Cant remember which way, but it will do the trick. It has been a while since Ive played with boost, its amazing what 12psi in a rodeo will do, although a mate used to run 16!! What a weapon. But you should find that 12 is more than enough, and will give you enough legs to overtake and accelerate at 100 in 5th.
I havent adjusted the boost on my current rodeo yet, waiting for the injectors to be done, and my slack mate to come around with a boost controller. Good luck, let us know how you went.
