Want to save a $ or 3 when you want new shockies get the MaxiTrac as sold by the company that start with R and ends in O ,,cost round $200 per pair and will last less than 10,000 ks even on the black top ,,total unmitigated rubbish , nuff said,

Couldnt agree more. Put 4 of these onto my 100 series, and the vehicle was all over the road. Complained to R____O who said there wasnt any problem with the brand, and sent another set to make sure I hadnt got a faulty batch. These were just as bad as the first. Have put the original Toyota shocks back on and no problem. The original shocks are getting old, but are heaps better than MaxiTrac. Maybe OK for the American market but not here! As Alloy c/t says: total unmitigated rubbish.

Interesting thing is a new set of genuine Toyota shocks is usually cheaper than any of the aftermarket brands, and they are Japanese made.
