Does anybody have any knowledge or experience regarding firestone firehawk RMT tyres. Good bad or otherwise, all commments welcome

well not many of them from what we hear they get a little noisy/some get great ks and others dont get many ks what size are you thinking of and what sort of car are they going on

arnt firestones the tyres jeep in america had many blow outs and vehicles rolling with many people killed and multi milliom dollar law suits. Col

no the firestone that went bang in usa was a mexican made tyre one type made only for the ford explorer for ford on new vehicles. none ever came to australia unless an explorer was imported.looking foward to

Yup it was definately on the Ford Exploders NOT on the Jeeps.
Yes it was the Firestones - not sure if it was a specific model for Ford or normal run of the mill....BUT almost certainly part of the problem was incoorect tyre pressures too (if I recall some of the stats correctly)....

Have seen quite a few of the firehawks come apart on the harsh dirt around here ( MT Isa ) , eg sidewalls coming apart etc , wouldn't recomend these at all. Buy a set of BFG's or coopers , you won't be sorry
