There is a meeting at the MTA 224 Balcatta Rd Balcatta tonight @ 7pm........in attendance will be DEC and Water Corp people...........we need as many people as possible to come along and listen (and maybe get a teeny bit rowdy). The Mundaring closure is only the start of the closure process. rgds

I used to live in MDG and spent many hours on those tracks, now live in Kalgoorlie. Please let me know the result and any info from the meeting, good luck.
Thanks

a sub committee has been formed consisting of MTA - WA4WD assoc - Trackcare and I think some one from PERTH4X4.net (not sure on this one).............a submission will be completed and forwarded - note that all/any submission from any/all interested persons must be forwarded by 26Feb. Rob Robson attended and is intending to put something in his Saturday column. Some were critical of the attitude of some of those present for being -ve.........with continued complaints that even though we (4WDers) do track maintenance and repair work the tracks are still closed etc..............the DEC and Dept of Water both said we (4WDers) are too -ve and aggressive - and this from the people who said the document didn't exist back in Dec2006. What will happen now???? I don't know but suspect this is the thin bit of the wedge and we will be stopped from any movement within catchment areas - and that is a massive chunk of the SW between
New Norcia and Walpole. rgds
