Question for Truckster or anyone that might know the answer
We are trying to upload the Australian Base Map to a Magellan Platinum GPS. It gets to the stage of uploading and just hangs. Is there a separate upload mode like there is for uploading software. We are able to upload the firmware without any problems and even change the Lawyer screen but as soon as we try to upload the Base map it won't work
Any suggestions would be appreciated.....

I have the same GPS from the states, would appreciate any info on how to go about changing basemap/whatever else needs changing - once you get it sorted. I am in Melb for a few days then back to

I have heard of a few hanging like that. Search the
forum for answers, I cant remember what the issue was.
