I would like to put on a Prodigy Brake Control by Tekonsha. This unit comes with a wiring harness. As I'm in the
United States at the moment on business I'm going to buy it here.
Does anyone know if the Toyota Landcruiser 100 series, year 2005. Come with the plugs to put this harness in or do I still have to wire it in.
On the American site were they sell the harness it said the brake controller just needs plugging in as the Toyota is pre wired for the brake controller. But this may only be on the exported Toyota to the
united states.
Any help on this would be good.
Cheers
Rob

Hi Robert
Please let me know what you find as
well as contact details.
We sell many Prodigy controllers and have been asked about the LC harness. It does exist but am unsure if it will fit the Australian LC.
Email me on sales@sidewinder.com.au when you find out.
Regards
Derek.

Hi Derek.
I will let you know.
Reading below there seems to be a difference to the wiring from USA to Australia. Which I don't find surprising.
I think I will try and contact Toyota directly.
Cheers

Prodigy controllers are specifically marked "Australia" purchased here. I presume that there is some operational difference for this to be the case.

My understanding is that the Australian ones have the brake lights come on when you use the manual switch.
The USA ones do not
