Beach condition Moreton Island

G'day fello 4x4ers, does any know what
the beach condition is like at Moreton at the moment??? heading there tomorrow.

I imagine very firm after all this rain. if you mean the surf,
well if you get no answers try the surf cams on various sites (for surfers) and look at north straddie's beach and should be similar if not same.

Beach condition ?? east side ?? west side ?? only thing that ever realy changes is the tide so the question is rather ambiguous , now knowing the inland tracks condition would be more helpful and after the recent rain and storms the tracks should be fairly firm.

It will be sandy, with soft sand and hard sand near the water, the water will be wet and depending on the tides and wind direction, small or large waves.
I would sugest you use 4WD low or high range and reduce tyre pressures to suit, depending on the dune sizes and softness of sand, which varies from day to day with the temperture.
