At 150 kw for a new V8, that's a bit disappointing. The current Tojo IHDT-Fe 6 cylinder turbo diesel does 151kw! Perhaps its got more torque, lower down?

V8,
As you
well know, if I could get that 6 cyl 1HDT- FE Tojo motor into a Nissan, I'd buy a dozen of 'em.
If the Tojo V8 is as good as that Tojo 6 cyl engine but with a bit more torque down low, it'll be a ball tearer - an expensive ball tearer though ;)
Hows the flamin' intercooler going? I never get an answer,,,,,,,,,,
;)

I don't have an intercooler Bilbo, my 6.5 was 'au naturale' as they say in the classics. There's a few 'V8's' kicking around here these days so it could be one of them. I'm a fraud anyway these days as I sold my Chevota to build SUPER SHED.
I think this where the new 4 door troopy will shine. A good mix of comfort and 'hose out' no-frills if you get my drift. Most of all, live axles all round.
You didn't happen to start your Nissrolet somewhere around
Denham in last day by any chance? Heard they'd registerd 7.3 on the richter scale;-)))

Whoops, sorry V8. I got you mixed up with Truckster - whose buidling his own intercooler with some bits I gave him.
No, it wasn't me around
Denham at this time of year - too hot mate! I was back in
Denham about 18 months ago after an absence of about 25 years - it's certainly changed a lot - you can even get a latte there now! When I was there 25 years ago, you were battling to get fresh water!
What is SUPER SHED?
Take care,
Bilbo

Super Shed is the realisation of a life long dream to have a professional style of area for working on my future projects. Sick to death of the front driveway or heading over to mates
places for the last quarter of a century.
I'm at the 3 phase electrics stage now. I'm afraid it will never end..............

Who said the V8 Diesel in the ute is only 150KW..?? Anyhow it's the torque figures that matter, not the KW..
