Quite some time ago, someone posted a story on here about them walking out of a servo/cafe without paying and being pulled over in the next town by the local copper and being charged for something like evading the bill or whatever.
Apparently they had to go back to where it was (if I remember rightly it was somewhere in qld) and have the charge heard in the local court.
Anyone know what the outcome was of this little story.

FWIW the perpetrator had to pay the fine and cop the charge.

Dunno about that particular case but last year here in the
pilbara a bloke got shot by a copper for not paying his fuel bill!!! Bit more to it than that, but it's a fair deterrent!

After he nearly killed the copper. He was a mess.
A .40S&W concluded the negotiations.
