the tanami track near
the granites mine lately. i did the induction to work there, and there he was (photographs) being rescued in a tinnie after driving off the edge of the road. him and his missus had heaps of stuff. interesting photos too.

What's your point my son?
I've done some pretty dumb things in the past, including walking into a dam on a wet night whilst shooting and nearly drowning. Had a finger ripped off because of stupidity. Stomped by cattle, getting married, and loosing teeth in a few bars. The other stupid things I've done aren't fit for this
forum.
Why are these people being picked on?
LOL
Regards
Kim

Kim ,
Your remark about walking into a dam at night reminded me once when I was bass fishing on a river bank in the near dark . By moonlight , I saw an excellent rock to stand on , to cast . I stepped up onto it and went straight through the ribcage of a dead cow . Smelt great .
Willie .

hmm reminds me when me and a mate where driving home in the ol fj45 and saw a dead cow, we thought we could drive over the top of it . so we tried and got 'suspended ' on the top . with the drive shaft spinning and burning hair filling the air, after a couple more beeers we had to get the winch and un-suspend ourselves from this bovine seesaw. funny it was

Good on ya Davoe for showing me the error of me ways. Isnt it still called North Flinders Mines? despite who owns it. I lived in Alice in the mid 90's hence the outdated knowledge...lol
Yeah Kim, you said it...lol

Remember the difference between being an idiot and someone just giving it a go is attitude!
Heres one for the thought police! we used to pinch trucks and piss off to rabbit flat to do grog runs HEE HEE

Crazy place that Rabbit Flat.
Are Bruce and Jacqui still there or do the youngsters run the place now? Spent a couple of boozy nights there on Govt business in the early eighties!!
Cheers

Dave
Reminds me of a
young fellow and his family in 2005 when we were on our way up to Burke Town in the Gulf.
On the way up, one member of the group wanted to visit
Cameron Corner again. So off we went with me grumbling and spitting chips.
Topped the sand
hill and found the
Pink Lake? flooded. Down below was a Toyota and camper trailer attempting to extract their rig from the lake. This guy assumed because there are a couple of white posts that was the way he should precede.
All due credit to him, he finally reversed out of the lake (without our help). I mentioned to him there was a track around the Southern edge which he followed and thankfully a holiday wasn’t ruined.
Regards
Kim
