I would presume you would have been to places like Johannesburg. and maybe Lake Bosomtwe ,in Ghana, West Africa, As you would know I am a fanatic about Impact sites and Lake Bosomtwe is one hell of a hole W 1° 25' N 6° 30', but more amazing is Vredefort Dome of which the city of Johannesburg, and some other villages and farmland is within E 27° 30' S 27° 0', the specs on this site are just totally awesome , Would have photo's maybe , I have a special section in my website about Vredefort Dome

Yes, that, I suppose, was my downfall in life....lol

I think that I have finally come to the end of buying cars. There were a few motorbikes mentioned in the list below. The list is in order of buying. No, I have not been to Ghana.

Well mate, I was unaware of the Vredefort Dome.

I have passed through the area many times over my years and have even stayed overnight in the motel. It is a small country town on the main north/south route bewteen Cape Town and Johannesburg. The Johannesburg Greater Area, now renamed Gauteng, comprises a number of cities and carries a population of around 15 million. Its a busy place.

Almost the whole of the city of Johannesburg sits on the earth's crust with a ginormous cavity below as most of the South African gold was(and still is) dug out from beneath. I believe that mine shafts reach down as far as 3km. Fascinating stuff on Google.

Cheers
