I have a GU3 4.2tdi cab chassis with steel tray and canopy which I tow my 2t caravan. I usually have about 300-440kg in the tray as
well. i have had the bigger turbo and exhaust done by MTQ. What I would like to know is if anyone has done or heard of having the gas added as
well and what it achieved. One of the things that worries me is the added strain on gearbox/diff etc of the extra hp. Would be grateful for anybodies experience.
Thanks, Geoff

Nothing has a stronger drive-train than your Nissan.
But it's a lot of extra dollars for the conversion. Very little fuel economy benefit.
How much power do you need?
I've looked into it and cannot justify the expense and complication, and nor am I that desperate for more power (I tow a 2800 kg van with my after- market turbo 4.2.)
I have spoken to one guy who'd done the conversion- he was reasonably happy but not what you'd call "over the moon."
Cheers
