Firstly thanks to those who replied to my preious post, expecially to Ozboc.
I have no problem in buying off Ebay and have purchased a few great deals. A Kipor 2kva (1/3 of the best
shop price and working great), wood lathe chisels etc, but do my research first as there are times when you can purchase from the shops cheaper after adding delivery.
Here are two interesting replies to my request from OZ-Auction for details on the
water pressure cleaners. I asked questions about,
1. Can it suck from bucket,
2. Does it have a brass pump, warranty etc.
Here are the two responses:
1. Dear customer,
sorry,Im not sure about that
2. Dear customer,
sorry,Im not sure about that, and it made in China, and we provide 14 days warranty on it.
Very professional, even sounds like an automated computer response. I left the staff members name out as she is probably only doing as she is told.
At least it helps me make up my mind.

Yep, I've got some great buys from ebay as
well.....The reversing camera I bought with a simirar allangement to the one you are desclibing... I was highly dubious but hey it was half the price of any similary specked ones available in Aussie...Turned up and its a "rittle lipper"
I have little tolerance for people who do not have my command of english, yes I'm a pious bastard. I speak ony a few words of mandarin and if really pressured I can yell out "pua hoya" which is chinese and is useful if you want a chinese tram driver in Hong kong to go, "all clear" is the litteral translation.
I, like you, would be dubious simpry becarse of 14 day warranty...
There is a great website that helps you with english/asian translations go here & have a rook: www.engrish.com
