The product is crap, but you can't claim warranty because the crap fell apart?? Presumably you are talking about the navigation accessory.
Don't accept that from them. Remind them that it's better built and better backed,
to use their own words. Keep throwing their own advertising at them and keep going up the ladder of the dealer and company till you get satisfaction.

There were posts here earlier on the Exceed and its nav system. They're rejecting claims coz the mfr/supplier of the nav system has gone broke and Mitsi can't find a new supplier.
The fact that the button has been lost is irrelevant. If a defective piece of trim drops off out in the bush and you can't find it, that doesn't let them off the hook! It was lost coz it was defective.
The problem is Mitsubishi's, not yours. Keep at them.

I have a 2005 exceed and that poxy button has fallen of a few times for me as
well.
The Nav system is a absolute piece of #**t.
That's about the only thing I hate about the 4b.
The sound system is great,DVD system not bad don't have complaint's from the kids anyway ,but that Nav system is a waste of space, not user friendly and the maps are stone age.

I have a Mitsubishi Express van for work, at one month old the small pod that houses the
Hazard light switch fell out of the dash board and I had a long heated discussion with the mitsy dealer to get it fixed under warranty. They tried very hard to charge for it. I won in the end, mostly due to being irate and threatening media publicity over their crap product!
Stick at them suepajero, don't let up!
Cheers
