Hi all,
Looking to buy the new V8T cruiser ute. Just wondering if the current 4.2T tray would fit perfectly on the new utes. All sources i have previously asked have said yes but i was curious if anyone has heard different from dealers.

Also if there is any news on the 'actual' release dates, prices, delivery, etc???

Very Exciting to see when the new cruiser is on the streets. I was originally told August for the new model but just yesterday was told more likely nearer the end of the year. That was for the wagon, I dont know if the cab chassis is released at the same time.

AS I understand it everythng from the windscreen back is the same as the current model. If that's the case, tray should be the same. I also hear March for the Ute. Bit dissapointing that the have made no other changes so no airbags etc.

It should be illegal to sell something without air bags today. Not smart by Toyota, but hey, they can make a bit more profit.

Ford has reacted by offering a cheap safety pack on the new Ranger, so that it can comply with Occ Health and Safety guidelines. On top of standard airbags.

Shows that the company setting records for the worst losses can still teach the company making record profits a thing or two.

I have read that the new cruisers have a slightly wider track due to the chassis rails being spaced a bit wider to accomodate the V8?
