sounds like your looking at, rodeo, navara or triton. 4x4 monthly did a article on these vehicles and from memory the nav and triton topped, rodeo performed poorly. your choice though....personally i havent had any experience with either

Hello Gdad. Have driven them all over the past 6 months. Decided on the Navara
diesel manual (not the auto) and love it to bits. We do 4wding, camping and caravaning. Towed the van (1.2tonne) last week for the first time and averaged 12.4l/100ks. Put your bum in all of them and ask the question, which one would you like to see outside the window when you wake up. Oh yeah! drive them as
well.
Cheers, Wayne.

G-Day
We purchased a new Nissan Navara ST-R Turbo Diesel end of 2006, we tow
a 2000kg tandem caravan very easy, we can cruise on 100ks per hour, with
plenty left to over take if needed.
We drive up
the beach on a regular basis, never have any problems.
Nissan have lifted their game re: after sales service, on the
Gold Coast anyway.
From what I used to hear they were fairly ordinary once.re after sales service.
Cheers
Daza
