Hi, does anyone know the whereabouts of a caravan wrecker? After parts for an old Jayco Dove, in particular the roof top?
Cheers Newby

Don't bother looking for a wrecker ...... just go out on any road that's got some corrugations in it and you should find plenty of Jayco parts ...... they'll be on either side just waiting to be picked up.
Sorry, just couldn't help myself (again). *G*

Actually Robert, it's from experience. Have aided 3 Jayco travellers so far .... all "Outback" pop ups.
First one on the road between
Thargomindah and
Innamincka .... shock mounting ripped out. (Owner couldn't say enough bad things about his camper)
Next was between Innaminka and
Cameron Corner ...... had flat tyre on tow vehicle but told us that rocks had destroyed the outside tap and the result was that they had lost all of their water.
And the third was just outside the
Old Laura homestead in Lakefield NP ..... both shock mountings ripped out.
Now I didn't think it was the time or place to ask them if they were "one of the w**kers who drive at 100mph on dirt roads", but next time (and I'm sure there will be), I'll ask them just for you.
Cheers .... Geoff
